Hammock Information

Tips on how to get the best out of your hammock!

In Brazil, hammocks are still used as beds, as they always have been. This is the reason that they are as wide and comfortable as a bed! Even if you are only going to use your hammock for relaxation, you should still try to adopt the Brazilian way of lying: Recline diagonally like the Brazilians, to pamper your back!

Safety & Quality:

TÜV – the symbol for your safety:
The TÜV certificate is the German seal which certifies the safety of a product. The product is subjected to a range of standardised technical procedures, testing the product in its destined application area. This seal of safety is particularly important for applications which concern children. You can recognize our TÜV-certified product range by the pictured seals.

Brazilian Hammocks:

All our Brazilian hammocks and hanging chairs are made of 100% cotton. We guarantee that the colours are AZO-free!

Travel Hammocks:

Nylon makes the difference! As opposed to the cheap polyester that is often used, nylon is:

  • much kinder to the skin, allowing it to breathe
  • much more comfortable, as the elastic material stretches
  • much more stable, as we use extra-strength 210 T nylon that withstood three times the maximum load in laboratory tests.

  • We achieve additional safety through welded, sewn-in loops for hanging, and stronger hanging cords than those conventionally used.
  • The material is checked by an independent laboratory and is free of harmful AZO substances.
  • In the King-Size-Format of 220 x 140 cm, even tall people can relax comfortably.
